Deep in the Madagascan rainforest, one chameleon body pops to Panjabi MC while the other chameleons look on with a mixture of shock and awe. This chameleon is totally in the zone – effortlessly performing fluid dance moves while he changes colour from top to tail. He even catches a fly in time with the beat. Why can’t all the other chameleons be a bit more… Berocca?
Agency Solution
Our strategy was to drive brand fame with a national TV and OOH launch, and follow it up with the opportunity to interact with Roccy in real time. Usually the labour-intensive nature of CG animation makes real-time audience interaction with a digital character like Roccy impossible. So we developed a piece of software that allowed us to render Roccy in real time, allowing us to respond instantaneously to people’s requests.
