J. Walter Thompson São Paulo launched “Donate the Bars” for ATADOS, an organization that connects people who want to volunteer for social and environmental causes to non-profits who need their help. Black bars that appear on either side of vertical videos on YouTube were used as ad space for charities.

Results and Awards:

  • Over 615,000 hours of donated videos.
  • £277,500 of free media.
  • 50 NGOs shared their cause through the campaign.
  • Cannes Lions 2016: 2 Silvers, 3 Bronzes,1 Titanium.
