Jury Chairman | Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, FITCH

Tim
Greenhalgh

This year I had the pleasure of chairing the session as sadly, our regular host and Chair, Tim Greenhalgh, was on a mission: impossible, so for once, missed the action.

A purposefully diverse set of judges from the design and branding world assembled to assess the state of our particular creative planet. Many thanks go to Shaun Loftman and Hsu-Ying Fullick (Landor), Greg Quinton and Marta Swannie (Superunion), Kenny Holmes and Elspeth Lynn (Geometry), Graham Shearsby and Emma Follett (Design Bridge), James Ramsden and Sam Stone (CPB) and Anna Chimes (FITCH)

We sought work with intelligence to conquer problems, ideas that could swim in the multi-channel world and design work that shone a light onto our everyday lives. And we found it! (thankfully).

From screen to shelf to street to c-suite the design and branding winners had an undeniable quality which will enhance lives and make things better. Job done. Onwards!

Finally, a huge congratulation must go to the dynamic and diverse Superunion who took this year’s Crème de la Crème for their wonderful work for Shakespeare’s Globe - ‘Old and New Collide’
