Project Description
Indians travel with their family – which includes kids, women, youth and grandparents. So their choice of destination had to be a place that offers something for every age group. Madhya Pradesh fit the bill perfectly. It had –wildlife, shopping, cuisine, heritage and even spiritual landmarks.
The basic thought behind this campaign is ‘wonder’ and we succeeded in doing so by using toys. We wanted to bring out the child like curiosity in the travelers.
The tin toys in India were extremely famous a few decades back as India didn't have access to any more evolved toys then. Perhaps most of the Indian tourists who visit Madhya Pradesh, are 30 years plus of age and have played primarily with the tin toys as a child. So the idea to remind them of their childhood days could have only come alive with tin toys. Mowgli, the famous character from Rudyard's Kipling Jungle book lives in Kanha Tiger Reserve, the most famous tourist destination of Madhya Pradesh.
Agency Solution
It took us almost 5 months to create this film. The toys featured in this film are the first of their kind. Each of these tiny marvels that showcases various tourist attractions were specially handcrafted for the film. Each tin toy, was handcrafted hundreds of times to make sure it looks as real as the tin toys from our childhood days. We controlled their movement by putting bluetooth devices inside every toy to achieve accurate timings as they move in tandem. And also to make sure we shoot this entire 60 second film in a single shot. We shot this film for 4 days and with uncountable takes to achieve its childlike simplicity in execution.
