Viewers have been conditioned by TV shows to believe that forensic science is infallible but the reality is very different. We can collect data like never before but what use is that if we can't interpret it correctly? This campaign sought to crowdfund £1m to build the UK’s only dedicated forensic science laboratory at University College London.
